Where does the paper come from

Yes! Definitely paper comes from wood fiber. Raw wood is mixed with cellulose wood fiber, ligin, water, and chemicals.

The pulp will look more like soup but it is made by the mixture of wood fiber, wood cellulose, which can be turned into pulp in many different ways. Wood chips are grind into paper machines to form pulp including other chemicals. Only wood chips pulp gives low quality results which are useful in either way.

Low quality paper can be qualified as per its weight and thickness. Thickness can be measured by GMS. Only wood fiber gives low thickness and the paper made out of wood fiber gives the thin paper. The results of the paper are weak which is widely used for news printing, phone books etc.

Low quality papers can also use as per their needs. Weak papers are specially manufactured so it can be used as newsprint paper or any other then paper product.

Paper can be made in the industry as well as by hand

  1. Handmade papers are eco-friendly, non-toxic, bio-degradable cellulose fiber contained product. This also is a part to save the environment.
  2. Handmade paper has its own texture, colour and feel compared to that of the paper manufactured in industries.
  3. There are some particular places where people make handmade paper since the 15th century.
  4. They have developed their process and products manufacturing from paper sheets to paper bags, decorative gift folders etc.
  5. Paper bags are in huge demand in the help of plastic prohibition.
  6. Handmade paper is produced with fewer chemicals. Therefore, it is hard to control the quality of the paper. For example; handmade paper can’t assure the spreading of ink while written. Paper also becomes moist in rainy days.
  7. Handmade papers are comparatively high price than that of the paper manufactured in mills and industries.
  8. Man power is needed for handmade paper making process industries have machines for the process of paper making.

Paper made in industries

  1. Paper making industries runs on a large scale globally.
  2. Machines needless man power and is easy to supply globally.
  3. Paper made in the industries has a guarantee and can be used in all kind of products.
  4. These paper supplied to different industries for manufacturing books, magazines etc.
  5. A machine consumes less energy and time and gives efficient results and can manufacture paper in tons per day.
  6. Wood chips give the fiber essentials, but other raw materials can also help in obtaining fiber for the pulp.
Waste like cloth, cardboard or any waste material from which fiber can derive, are easy to convert them into pulp by the help of machines.
  7. Machines grind the pulp fiber and mix with the water and chemicals, further, they are proceeding in other machines to give the pressure to make a thin sheet, where water is separated from the pulp.
  8. Thin sheets are then dried and paper is obtained.
  9. Machinery is an easy and smart way to obtain paper where machinery can manufacture tons of paper on a daily basis.
