Khadhya Khurak is an esteemed event that exhibits the latest trends and technological progressions in the Indian food and hospitality sector, aiming to raise awareness among industry professionals.
Khadhya Khurak originated in 2000 as a Gujarati publication named Khadhya Khurak News, with the goal of spreading essential awareness within the Food & Hospitality industry. The brainchild behind this initiative was Mr. Prakash Mehta, a prominent figure in the Food Processing Industry.
In 2006, the group expanded its reach nationwide by introducing the Hindi Edition, ‘Khurak.’ The magazine swiftly gained popularity, garnering widespread subscriptions from business professionals both nationally and internationally.
Over the years, the Khadhya Khurak exhibition experienced significant growth by aligning with prevailing trends in the F&B industry, contributing to the expansion of numerous businesses. Following seven successful exhibitions, in 2010, Mr. Himachal Mehta launched the English edition ‘Food In Toto,’ providing insights to Indian businessmen in the food processing industry settled in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
In 2019, in line with their founder’s vision to showcase the prowess of the Indian Food Industry and in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India initiative, Mr. Himachal Mehta introduced ‘Food of India.’ This digital platform aims to assist the processing and other related industries.
Khadhya Khurak continues to host its annual exhibition in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, INDIA. Participants and attendees gather in large numbers to comprehend the expanding scope of the Food and Hospitality industry in the country.
